DescriptionThe archive consists of two posters designed and used on a protest at Westminster Cathedral on 26 Jun 1978, by the group 'Roman Catholic Feminist', and photocopies newspaper articles relating to the protest. The women were protesting at an annual Flower Festival organised by the Union of Catholic Mothers and the Catholic Women's Guild. The two placards have the slogans: 'Women can arrange Liturgy as well as flowers' and 'Women are leaders, not homemakers.'
