Admin Biographical HistoryPapers produced for joint seminars of the London School of Economics and the London Graduate School of Business Studies, on industrial organisation and management. These seminars were held by Professor Sir Ronald Edwards (1910 - 1976) on Tuesday evenings from 1946, and became known as the "Ronald Edwards Seminars". They were aimed at businessmen, civil servants and academics, and were based on papers prepared by industrialists and civil servants. The majority of the papers related to business administration. Ronald Edwards published them (with Harry Townsend) in three volumes entitled "Business Enterprise" (1958), "Studies in Business Organization" (1961) and Business Growth" (1966).
DescriptionThis collection consists of various papers on business organisation and management from a diverse selection of companies. There is an index which gives the papers in alphabetical order of company and in order of paper number with titles.
There are 18 volumes containing a total of 452 papers.
