Admin Biographical History | The parliamentary election for Yorkshire was held from May to June 1807. It was contested by the philanthropist William Wilberforce (1759-1833), Henry Lascelles 2nd Earl of Harewood (1767-1841) and Charles William Fitzwilliam, Viscount Milton and later 5th Earl Fitzwilliam (1786-1857). Wilberforce won the election, and was MP for Yorkshire until 1812. He had previously been MP for Yorkshire in 1784, 1790, 1796, 1802 and 1806. |

Appears to have been owned by Mr. Duncombe, chairman of the Committee for the General Purposes of Mr. Wilberforce's election. |
