Admin Biographical History | The Greater London Council Gay Rights Working Party was formed in 1981 to investigate gay issues in the London area. Its work culminated in the publication of 'Changing the world: a London charter for gay and lesbian rights' (GLC, London, 1985). The working party was particularly concerned with employment rights and police attitudes, and liaised with gay groups throughout the capital. It ceased to exist following the dissolution of the GLC in 1986. |
