Admin Biographical HistoryVivienne Lake was born 6 Jun 1938. She attended Westcott House Theological College, Cambridge, 1984-1986 and was ordained/ made deaconess at Ely Cathedral in Jun 1986. She was licensed to the parish of The Good Shepherd, north Cambridge (1986-1990). In Jan 1987, Vivienne was commissioned as Ecumenical Minister, King's Hedges Church Centre (1987-1990); in Apr 1987 she was ordained Deacon (historic) at Ely Cathedral, and in May 1994, ordained priest (historic) at Ely Cathedral. She was licensed to the parish of Papworth (including Hospital) (1994-1996). Between 1990 and 1994, and from 1996 to Aug 2012 (on-going) she exercised a peripatetic ministry in Bourn Deanery and in and around Cambridge. She was the first woman to celebrate the Eucharist in many village churches, and has served a number of inter-regnums.
DescriptionThe archive consists of correspondence, papers, Deaconess cross and chain, badges, commemorative plate and tea towel. Two video recordings are awaiting conservation and unavailable.
